Leah Althoff
Leah Althoff is a Denver based comedian who got her start in comedy because skiing, hiking, and petting other people’s dogs didn’t keep her busy enough. Her comedy is typically lighthearted but not afraid of heavier themes; audiences may come away from it learning a lesson or two, and every now and then, there's a joke just for the adults.
She consistently performs at venues and on independent shows throughout Colorado and has also been selected to perform at multiple comedy festivals, including the Colorado Queer Comedy Festival, Boulder Comedy Festival, and CloudTop Comedy Festival. Her most recent venture includes teaming up with two other great local comedians to host a queer-friendly monthly show at Cerebral Brewing in Aurora, CO.
It's a short resume for now but she's working to get her name out there, enjoying the process (most of the time), and staying the course thanks to people like her grandma and 10th grade English teacher who have each told her they are big fans of her comedy on multiple occasions. Yes, she is still in touch with her 10th grade English teacher. It’s not weird.
